Sh Chirag Bhanu Singh

Shri Chirag Bhanu Singh did his graduation from Vallabh PostGraduate College, Mandi and law from Himachal Pradesh University,Shimla, was enrolled as a Member of the High Court Bar Association Shimla in the year 1994. Practiced there in Civil, Criminal, constitutional and service matters (original and appellate side) till his appointment in the year 2007. Remained Deputy Advocate General for the State of Himachal Pradesh from the year 2003 and was a member of the Bar Council of Himachal Pradesh before being appointed as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 2007.Was a member of the Indian Delegation headed by the Hon’ble ChiefJustice of India to Australia in 2009 viz-aviz protecting rights and promoting access to justice. Also remained as a Judge of Himachal Pradesh Industrial Tribunal cum-Labour Court before joining as District & Session Judge of Chamba. Thereafter joined as Legal Remembrance-cum-Pr. Secretary(Law) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh on 05.02.2013. Was Pr.Secy(Lokayukta), Human Right Commision. Remained posted as Registrar(Judicial-1) in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India twice. Was the Director of the State judicial Academy. Remained the OSD to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of HP. Thereafter, on transfer assumed the charge of District and Sessions Judge, Bilaspur on 26.06.2023.
