Ms Swati Barwal

Born on 14.12.1992, to Smt. Kaushalya Barwal and Sh. Ravinder Kumar Barwal, in a small village-kaltri, Tehsil Sandhole, District Mandi, H.P. .Did initial schooling from Army Public School, Chandimandir, Panchkula, middle schooling from Carmel Convent School, Nahan, H.P. and matriculation from St. Mary’s High School, Sundernagar, H.P. Thereafter completed 12th from D.A.V Public School, Hamirpur, H.P. Completed B.A.LL.B (Hons) from University Institute of Legal Studies, Chaura Maidan, Shimla, H.P. and was awarded gold medal for securing first rank in B.A.LL.B (Hons) in Himachal Pradesh in the year 2015. Did LL.M from Kurukshetra University, Haryana in the year 2017. Got selected in Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Examination with SECOND RANK. After undergoing training at Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy, Ghandal, Shimla, H.P., got first posting as Civil Judge-cum -Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 6, Shimla on 14.01.2019 and remained postings as such till 04.08.2021. On transfer,assumed the charge as Civil Judge -cum -Judicial Magistrate First Class,Court No.5 Shimla(H.P.) on 04.08.2021. On transfer, assumed the charge as JMFC,Court No.1,Dharamshala,Kangra on 10.12.2021. Thereafter ,got transferred to Ghumarwin and assumed the charge as JMFC,Court No.2,Ghumarwin on 01.04.2023
