Sh Dhiru Thakur

I, Dhiru Thakur completed my Graduation in Science from D.A.V. College, Sector 10, Chandigarh and thereafter done Dp.F.Sc. LLB, MA (Gandhian and Peace Studies) from Punjab University, Chandigarh. I practiced at P&H High Court, District Court, & Human Rights Comission at Chandigarh. Then I started my own academy named as “DHIRU BHAGIRATH THAKUR JUDICIAL COACHING ACADEMY”. I’ve authored a few books viz. “Search 4 Justice, Quest 4 Bench, Panaca for Legal Eagles, Encyclopedia on Conceptual Nuances on Legal Topics” containing 100’s of MNEMONIC TECHNIQUES & PYRAMID(one page) chart of over 100 enactments including Constitution of India. Thereafter, I joined Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services as Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.)-cum-JM-IIC in the year 2006. During my service, I have completed my LLM from Kurukshetra University, Haryana vide correspondence course. I have cleared Judicial post against U.N. Dispute Tribunal as well as U.N. Appellate Tribunal in the year 2023, against 7 seats in whole over world. I remained posted at Chopal, Shimla, Sunder Nagar, Gohar, Rohru, Jubbal una, Shimla. Thereafter, on transfer, joined as Civil Judge (Sr. Division)-cum-ACJM-cum-Employee (Compensation) Commissioner-cum-Rent Controller, Court No. 1 Kangra on 16-05-2016 and remained as such till 27-12-2018. Thereafter, on transfer, joined as Senior Civil Judge-cum-ACJM, Amb, Ditrict Una, H.P. on 29-12-2018 and remained as such till 05-08-2021. Thereafter, on transfer, joined as Secretary, District and Legal Service Authority, Sirmaur at Nahan on 16-08-2021 and remained as such till 29-11-2021. Upon transfer and promotion, assumed the charge of Senior Civil Judge-cum-CJM, Kinnaur at Reckong Peo, under Kinnaur Civil and Sessions Division, on 10.12.2021. Thereafter, on transfer assumed the charge of Senior Civil Judge-cum-Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bilaspur on 10.04.2024.
